History

Founded in 1981, Crown Jewel is Florida’s longest running Marching Band Festival. Held annually the third weekend of October at Vero Beach High School in Vero Beach, Florida, Crown Jewel attracts more than 8,000 visitors. The festival, bands, and the patrons that it attracts have a very positive impact on the community. Click here for more.

Who We Are

Crown Jewel Marching Band Festival is produced by the Vero Beach High School Band. Celebrating its 35th year, Crown Jewel consists more than 200 volunteers, a year-round staff of 5, and numerous corporate and community sponsors. Crown Jewel is funded in part by the Fighting Indians Band Boosters in support of the Vero Beach High School Band.

Crown Jewel takes place in the historic Citrus Bowl Stadium – Billy Livings Field on the campus of Vero Beach High School in Vero Beach, Florida.
